X-Men 2 (2003) is a film based on the team of X-Men mutants. Directed by Bryan Singer and starring Patrick Stewart, Hugh Jackman, Ian McKellen, Halle Berry and Famke Janssen, among others. Always considered monsters by a society that rejects them, the mutants are once again the center of attention when a horrible crime committed by one of them relaunches the controversy around the Record of Mutants and the Antimutants Movement, led by the former military William Stryker. When the latter launches an attack on the mutant school of Professor Charles Xavier, the X-Men are preparing for an all-out war for survival, aided by Magneto, recently fled from his plastic jail. On the other hand, Wolverine investigates his mysterious past, in which Stryker, who is said to have conducted numerous experiments with mutants, could have something to do with it.
