The triplets of Belleville is a 2003 animated film, written and directed by Sylvain Chomet. It narrates the kidnapping of a cyclist, Champion, during the Tour de France by the French Mafia, and how his grandmother, Madame Souza, and his dog Bruno undertake their search, with the help of three old music-hall stars known as «The triplets of Belleville. He received two nominations for the Oscar Awards: best animated feature film and best original song.
