The Cambridge Five, or Cambridge Circle, were a group of British spies recruited by the Soviet Union at Trinity College, University of Cambridge, England, and who passed information during World War II and until the early 1990s. 50 of the 20th century. Its members were Kim Philby (code name: "Stanley"), Donald Maclean ("Homer"), Guy Burgess ("Hicks") and Anthony Blunt ("Tony" and "Johnson") and, hypothetically, John Cairncross (" Liszt "), who never admitted having belonged to this group of spies. They infiltrated British society as "moles", in the jargon of the secret services.
