Queen performed this tribute concert to Freddie Mercury in 1992 to raise awareness and fight AIDS. David Bowie, Robert Plant, Roger Daltrey, Tony Iommi, James Hetfield, Seal, George Michael, Elton John, Axl Rose, Slash and Liza Minelli. To heat up the atmosphere as supporters, they gave short performances by Metallica, Extreme, Guns n' Roses and U2 (via satellite from their own concert far from Wembley) Monday, 20 April 1992 at Wembley Stadium in London, England with a live audience of 72,000.
