The Italian Grand Prix at the Monza circuit left us with a spectacular race. Probably one of the best of this anodyne 2020 season as both Mercedes cars were out of the fight for victory: Lewis Hamilton was sanctioned and had to come back from the end of the grid. Bottas had warming problems with his engine and could not squeeze his car. Frenchman Pierre Gasly and Spaniard Carlos Sainz won the race in an intense duel against the clock that lasted more than 10 laps. At the end the French pilot crossed the line with little more than 4 tenths of advantage over Sainz and got the first victory of his sport career.
