Welcome to part 79 of this commentary playthrough of Final Fantasy VII. Time for one of the most time-consuming and repetitive aspects of the post-game, breeding Chocobos. If you want to be able to access all of the Materia caves and get the Knights Of The Realm Materia, you have to bite the bullet and get breeding. I figured that as someone experiencing FF7 in its entirety for the 1st time this was a right of passage I must go through, like monster capturing in FFX. Thanks to the internet, there are great guides out there that make life MUCH easier. Here is the one I used - In this 1st part I breed the Blue and Green Chocobos. We will need these two in order to go on to breed a Black Chocobo, which will be used to finally obtain the Gold Chocobo. Lots of items to gather, Chocobos to capture, breed, and race. And resets.
