Goldust (w/ Marlena) fights Savio Vega (w/ Los Boricuas), as McMahon gives us a clue on what the next chapter of the Goldust vs Pillman feud was supposed to be: something positive was about to happen during In Your House 18 on 5/10/1997, and the Golden Couple was scheduled to renew their vows on Raw 6/10/1997. For obvious reasons, those plans were canceled.
Take a moment and think about it: the show we're watching was recorded on 7/10/1997, one day after the Brian Pillman tribute show, and just two days after his death. We can't imagine how Dustin and Terri felt, but they performed as great as always.
Also, the reason why the referee disqualified Los Boricuas instead of Savio Vega himself, remains a mystery...
