J'ai vu le sable des plages
Et je ne veux pas mourir
J'ai entendu le chant du phoque
Et je ne veux pas mourir
J'ai joué avec le sable,
et sur ce sable j'ai dormi

terre à bonheur, tu prends mon cœur
terre à bonheur, tout en couleur
terre à bonheur il n'y pas d'erreur!
terre à bonheur faut pas qu'tu meurs

J'ai laissé dans mes mains le sable,
se laisser faire par le vent
et le temps s'occupait de moi,
sans que je le sache et que j'y pense
J'ai dormi dans le creux des roches
Contre le sable et l'océan

Je comprends jusqu'à la clameur
que fait la vague au pied des roches
Je comprends bien le chant des phoques
Et que cela cesse, moi je ne veux pas. (BIS)
